Science and Technology Superior Advisory Committee

This committee is the Advisory (consultation) council which evaluates changes related to implementation, sustainability and operation of Product Conformity Assessment activities, and delivers opinions and recommendations about certification policies and objectives.

Duties of Science and Technology Superior Advisory Committee are as follows,

•             To assist development of operational principles of certification procedure,

•             To ensure independency and objectivity of Product Certification service,

•             To evaluate issues related to systematic and sustainability of Product Conformity Assessment procedures,

•             To create necessary opinions and recommendations regarding improvement of Product Conformity Assessment system,

•             To make recommendations on establishment of concerned committees relating to implementation of Product Conformity Assessment procedures and operation of these committees, and to observe objective and independent operation of these committees,

Science and Technology Superior Advisory Committee consist of representatives from

•             Central Anatolian Exporter Unions Machinery and Accessories Exporter Unions

•             Turkish Prime Ministry Undersecretariat for Foreign Trade

•             The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey

•             University represantative

•             Private Sector representative

•             Turkish Ministry of Trade and Commerce

•             Turkish Standards Institution

•             Ministry of Labour and Social Security

•             Chamber of Mechanical Engineers
