Rules of Using The TURQUM^® Quality Mark

 The Manufacturer may use the TURQUM^® Quality Mark;

•   On the certificated product and/or product package and/or wrapping,
•   On the printed or electronic catalogue or other definitive documents of the certificated product,
•   in the instructions for use / maintenance manuals of the certificated product,
•   in advertising / publicising activities (billboards, printed / visual media etc.) of the certificated product,
•   in proposals and biddings of the certificated product.

 TURQUM^® Quality Mark should be used in compliance with the conditions specified below:

•    TURQUM^® Quality Mark may solely be used by the manufacturers who derserved the right to obtain the Conformity Assessment Certificate in compliance with the relevant Product Conformity Assproduct Specification by OAIB.

•   TURQUM^® Quality Mark may solely be used at size, colour and quality specified in logo using features. The form of Logo can not be modified under any circumstances.

•   The Manufacturer should use the TURQUM^® Quality Mark in a manner which shall not interfere with or cover product conformity remarks such as CE etc.

•   It should not be imprinted more than one on same product or its wrapping.
•   The Manufacturer may not use such logo for the products other than the scope of the product certificated.
•   The Manufacturer should not be insistent regarding the usage of logo in manners which are not accepted by OAIB.
•   The Manufacturer should not use writings or inscriptions which may be misunderstood by its customers on its logo.

•   In case of cancellation, cancellation or expiration of certificate period, the Manufacturer should immediately stop the usage of logo in all relevant places and inform the public opinon accurately.

•   TURQUM^® Quality Mark may be enlarged or minimized with requested scales provided that protecting the original form and ratio and readibility.

•   TURQUM^® Quality Mark may not be used in a manner that OAIB shall be deemed as responsible from the content of the document used or relevant activity under any circumstances.

•   OAIB has right to take necessary measures, prohibit the usage and have legal proceedings commenced in order to prevent the misusage immediately and to correct the situation in an event of deceiving or inappropriate using of TURQUM^® Quality Mark.

Usage of TURQUM^® Quality Mark has been explained as follows.

(1) The inscription of “This product has been manufactured in accordance with the quality specifications which OAIB ....... Product Conformity Assessment Specification foreseen and has acquired right to obtain OAIB Product Conformity Assessment Certificate” shall be used with logo.

(2) The Manufacturer shall use the inscription of “This product has been manufactured in accordance with the quality specifications which OAIB ....... Product Conformity Assessment Specification foreseen and has acquired right to obtain OAIB Product Conformity Assessment Certificate” shall be used with TURQUM^® Quality Mark in all advertising / publicising, proposals / biddings of the product which has Product Conformity Assessment Certificate. As it has been specified in the articile 6 RULES OF USING THE TURQUM^® Quality Mark section; TURQUM^®  logo may not be used in the manufacturer’s general purpose advertising / publicizing materials, exhibition stands, web page.

(3) The Manufacturer may use TURQUM^® Quality Mark without explanation on other section / pages provided that using the inscription of “This product has been manufactured in accordance with the quality specifications which OAIB ....... Product Conformity Assessment Specification foreseen and has acquired right to obtain TURQUM^® Quality Mark” in at least one section of catalogues, instructions for use / maintenance manuals, brochures, other user documents of the product which has TURQUM^® logo. As it has been specified in the articile 6 RULES OF USING THE TURQUM^® Quality Mark section; TURQUM^® logo may not be used in the manufacturer’s  (non – related with Product Conformity Assessment Certificate) general purpose catalogues, instructions for use / maintenance manuals, brochures, other user documents.

6.1 Misuse of TURQUM^® Quality Mark

The Manufacturer can not use the logo in his documents and activities which are not related with the products which are not within the scope of direct certification by considering that TURQUM^® Quality Mark is a product quality certificate. Examples of inappropriate use which describe such situation is given below but this is not limited solely with these.

TURQUM^® Quality Mark may noy be used

•   On the headed paper, delivery note, order form of the Manufacturer,

•   On the commercial invoices of the Manufacturer,

•   On the general materials of the Manufacturer (brochures, promotion materials etc.)

•   On the general advertisements, web page, exhibition stands of the Manufacturer (if it  does not include reference which is not related with the certificated product or directly to certificated product)

•   On vehicles, buildings and flags.

•   On personal cards and business cards.

Such certificate can not be assigned to any other institution or legal personality under any circumstances. Product Conformity Assessment Certificate which is granted to the manufacturers by OAIB shall not exempt the manufacturer from juridical / legal obligations. Mark using right expires if the party using TURQUM^® Quality Mark is in bankruptcy, liquidated or informs OAIB in writing that he has waived from the right of use with his own will.

DECEIVING AND UNFAIR USE OF TURQUM^® Quality Mark

The responsibilities of the manufacturer in relation with the use of TURQUM^® Quality Mark have been specified in TURQUM^® Quality Mark Manual. OAIB monitors the manufacturer in respect of his responsibilities about TURQUM^® Quality Mark use. TURQUM^® Quality Mark use in any kind of corresponding, documents, products and advertisement materials of the manufacturer within this scope is monitored by OAIB Machinery Quality Certification Department and  evaluates the subject towards suspension or cancellation of the document if deceiving, unfair use is determined. His responsibility arising from Turkish and international legislation is kept reserved.
